U turn(Script)
Scene 1- Two youngsters get out from an office. A guy starts the bike and the other guy takes the back seat.(camera zoom in) The bike goes away from the frame.
Scene 2- A traffic island in the frame(aerial shot). The signal changes to green. (camera pans) The bike goes with a decent speed towards east direction.(close shot). The vehicles are going through the road along with the bike.
Scene 3 – (Close shot) The guy riding the bike takes his helmet wear it. The car of a senior police official overtakes through the left side of the bike. Both the guys have a look at the vehicle. The guy sitting at the back gets attention of a young beautiful girl inside the vehicle through the window. (Camera pans for another close shot) . The sound of the collision is heard in the background. Both of the guys are seen crawling on the road and the bike away from them.
Scene 4- (Aerial shot) A well maintained road, dividers, a U turn board, two guys on the road, bike on one side of the road, a car on the road standing still is seen in the frame. (Camera Zoom in) Two yo yo guys come from the Maruthi ritz . The guys who were on the bike struggling to get up. Both of the guys are seen tensed . They were descended with gloom. The Yo Yo boys asks whether anything happened . The Yo Yo boys then having heated words with the bike riders but with vain.
“We were trying to take a U turn, says the Yo Yo boys”. But the two guys of the bike dind’nt had an idea of what happened.The scene comes to an end after showing the collided part of the Maruthi Ritz going straight without taking a U turn. U turn shown at the right side with the car moved far away and finally the bike taking a U turn.
U Turn (Story)
It was half or quarter passed 2pm in the afternoon of January 19, 2012. The capital town of Kerala as usual was busy. The Raja Veedi(Royal path) of Kowdiar were carrying vehicles ranging from scooters to SUV’s. It was then Abhishek and Anish were on their way to Eastfort. Usually, travelling with Anish resembles to be in the dragon coaster(ride) of Veega Land. But this time the bike was travelling in a normal speed. After they crossed the Kowdiar traffic island, Anish wore his helmet. As usual Abhishek was searching for the beautiful girls who travelled in vehicles or by road. He got the vision of some girls who were good looking. It was then he noticed the car of a senior police officer which passed them. Inside the vehicle there was a pretty girl (he guess so) whom he saw through the window glass of the car. Seconds after that vehicle passed them he felt as he was falling down or had the effect of swinging. He didn’t know what exactly happened. Numerous imaginations moved across the mind of the two guys. Abhishek felt as he was going inside the wheels of a vehicle. Suddenly he understood that both of them were falling down and Abhishek felt as his legs going somewhere. He wondered if something has happened to Anish. After some time they got up themselves and both of them were wounded slightly. They had realized that they had collided with a car which was going to take a U turn. It was the version of those Yo Yo boys who came outside from the car. They just made an enquiry if something happened to the motorists. The motorists had not come out of the shock from the accident. After understanding that nothing seriously happened to the motorists, the Yo Yo boys got into the car and went off straight without taking a U turn. Anish and Abhishek stood there for a while and watched the vehicles which passed without having a mind just to reduce the accelerators. An auto driver who were at the spot told them that “ by god’s grace nothing happened to you people”. They went back to the office taking a U turn without reaching their destination.
When they reached their office back they went to a small hospital with their colleagues. They were sent to the casuality. After a minute the doctor came and prescribed them. He says them that “ there is no problem”. They were relieved. While sitting in the hospital , the time when Abhishek was applying ice on the wounded part of his head, he thought of the tamil movie Engeyum Eppothum which was based on a bus accident. The collision of two buses in the movie makes the audience get a feeling of witnessing an accident. A night has passed after the accident. Insha Allah
